Eye protection is required at all times when working in any area of Brooklyn Glass. Studio Renters and/or teachers in any area of Brooklyn Glass are responsible for making sure their assistants and/or students wear the eye protection at all times. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times when working in any area of Brooklyn Glass. NO synthetic fibers such as nylon or rayon are allowed in the Brooklyn Glass studios. Loose fitting cotton clothing is best. Shoes must have closed toes and backs. Long hair must be tied back when working in any area of the Brooklyn Glass studios. You may wish to cut the toe out of a tube sock to be used for covering arms.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Enrollment cancellations are not entitled to a refund. Transfers made outside of 15 days will not be subjected to processing fees. Within 15 days of the class, transfers are subjected to a 20% [of the original ticket price] fee. We cannot guarantee transfers made within 15 days of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate. Brooklyn Glass Studio will remain open and classes will remain in session, so long as MTA is running. We cannot provide refunds or transfers for classes missed due to weather outside of this policy.

For Neon Students ONLY: If you miss one or more sessions during your 8 week neon class, you are able to attend ONE makeup in the form of a one-day neon rental. During this make-up class rental, there will be specific glass designated for the students. Pumping the pieces, adding electrodes, and using materials beyond the designated glass will be an additional cost.
CLAIMING YOUR WORK
Be sure to pick up your work no later than 7 days after your last class. Any student work left in the studio after 7 days will be discarded. If you need your items shipped please inform your instructor or tech on duty immediately after class. Please note there is an additional cost for shipping.
All studio users must clean up after themselves. Any work, materials, or supplies left un-attended after working in the studio will be removed by Brooklyn Glass staff members. Cleaning must be completed during your rented time slot or class period in order to accommodate studio renters after you. Bi-Monthly clean ups are in effect and any work left in the Brooklyn Glass studios will be discarded during these clean ups.
GENERAL STUDIO RULES
First time studio renters must complete and sign a studio release form and receive written approval from Brooklyn Glass before renting any time in any area of Brooklyn Glass. No one under the age of 15 is allowed to register, enroll in a class, or rent studio time in any area of Brooklyn Glass without a completed and signed parent/guardian release of liability form.
Specific Age requirements: Kids under 12: Cannot participate in most studio activities Ages 12-14: Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during any studio activity. Ages 15-18: Kids must have a signed parent/ guardian release of liability form to work in the Brooklyn Glass studios.
Workspaces must be kept clean and free of rubbish while working. On completion of projects or classes, cleanup is mandatory. Abusive or violent behavior, (verbal or physical), will not be tolerated. Brooklyn Glass reserves the right to refuse service and cancel membership to anyone considered to be exhibiting unacceptable behavior
